About Academics
Core activity of the institute is the conduct of academic activities as per the curriculum of concerned University. To conduct academic
session, the University has academic calender which starts from June
Academic year is divided into two semesters. Each semester is of six months and instructions are conducted for 15 weeks per semester.
Semesters are divided into odd and even semesters. Odd semester includes I, III, V & VII and are conducted in December.
Even semester includes II, IV, VI & VIII and are conducted in June.
To conduct the session, institute prepares its own academic calendar on the basis of guidelines given by University which is normally notified
on institute notice board and upon web site.
Academic activities during the semester includes:-Theory / Practical / Tutorial sessions as per academic timetable
displayed before the commencement of semester.
During the semester, students need to undergo continuous evaluation by concerned subject teachers. This includes the timely completion of
assignments, preparing laboratory test, term tests etc.
At the end of each semester, there is university examination and to appear in the same, the students must have à minimum 75% of attendance in every
subject and à complete term work requirement satisfactory at the end of the term
About Admission
Every program offered by Lohiya College has different admission procedures. The admission criteria, fee structure and reservation policies are
subject to change based on the rules in force. Applicants are required to check the latest developments in this regard.Admissions in Diploma,Under Graduate (UG) & Post Graduate (PG) programme are carried out in the institute as per the norms of concerned University. The
rules and regulations prescribed by concerned University are applicable. Minimum age for admission to First Year Degree is ordinarily 17 years.
Admission to MBA & MCA courses shall be open for the candidates who have passed the Bachelor degree examinations with not less than 50% of the
marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examination.
The fees for the various Diploma, UG & PG programmes are prescribed by Committee comprising of Tuition Fee and Development Fee. This fee is
subject to revision by concerned University. In addition to this, students have to deposit Caution Money. Students are also required to pay the
examination and other fees as prescribed by the concerned University from time to time.

- Marksheet of SSC (Std. X) examination
- Marksheet of HSC (Std. XII) examination /Diploma in Engineering Examination
- School/College Leaving Certificate
- Caste Certificate for Backward class Candidates.
- Caste Validity Certificate for SC/ST/OBC.
- Gap Certificate on stamp paper of Rs.100/- duly notarized.
- Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
- Domicile Certificate of Candidate.
- Migration Certificate.
- Affidavit for Minority status on a ` 100/-non judicial stamp paper
- Aadhar Card (Xerox copy)
Documents required for Direct 2nd Year Admission in B.Tech.
- Diploma Final Year Marksheet.
- Diploma Provisional Passing Certificate.
- College Leaving Certificate after passing Diploma Exam from last attended College.
- Migration Certificate.
- Gap Certificate on stamp paper of Rs. 100/-duly notarized.
- Domicile Certificate of candidate / Domicile certificate of Father /Mother (in case of candidate passing SSC (Std X) and Diploma
Examination.
